When we remove your braces, we will begin the retention stage of your treatment. The retention phase lasts for a minimum of 12 months. Your final orthodontic result depends on your templates, so follow through with the hard work you’ve put in so far. Remember to remove your template before brushing, and brush your template before placing it back in your mouth.

Post - Retention

Once your treatment and active retention is complete, we do suggest retainer wear on an as needed basis indefinately. Some degree of change is expected as we age. Occassional wear of the retainer can minimize this change.
